Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the central business district of Zhengdong New District CBD, adjacent to National Highway 107 and Beijing Zhuhai Expressway; 26 kilometers away from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, with convenient transportation; It is a large-scale comprehensive modern conference and exhibition facility that integrates exhibitions, conferences, business, catering, and leisure sightseeing, with complete functions, advanced facilities, and perfect services. The total area is 685700 square meters, with a total investment of 1.539 billion yuan in the first phase of the project and a construction area of 214400 square meters. It is mainly used for conference and exhibition functions, and will also be a place for knowledge and ideological exchange, leisure and entertainment, catering and tourism. After completion, it will become a beautiful urban landscape in Zhengzhou. The Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is designed through international cooperation, jointly undertaken by Japan's Kurokawa Jizhang Urban Architecture Firm and the Sixth Design Institute of Machinery Industry.  

The Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is divided into two parts: the conference center and the exhibition center. The conference section has a circular layout with a building area of 60800 square meters. It consists of a multifunctional hall that can accommodate 5000 people, an international lecture hall that can accommodate 1200 people, two conference halls that can accommodate 400 people, and more than ten small and medium-sized conference rooms. The roof is composed of a central mast with a diameter of 154 meters and a truss arch structure supported by 12 three branch tree columns, forming a folding cone shape. The exhibition section has a fan-shaped layout with a building area of 153600 square meters and can accommodate 3560 international standard booths. The exhibition hall has two floors, with a maximum column grid of 30 × 30 meters on the first floor and no columns on the second floor. It is a large exhibition hall of 72000 square meters, 40.5 meters high, and a 102 meter span mast truss arch structure on the roof. In addition, the exhibition center has a total of 78 elevators, including 26 passenger elevators, 10 freight elevators, and 42 escalators. After completion, the exhibition center will have advanced intelligent exhibition management information system, communication network system, building equipment monitoring system, closed-circuit television monitoring system, security prevention system, fire automatic alarm and fire linkage control system and other eight systems and 26 subsystems. It is a modern mega public and public welfare building that integrates exhibitions, conferences, business, catering, leisure, and sightseeing.

The Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is a landmark building in Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou, and also the foundation project of Zhengdong New District. Its construction marks the official launch of Zhengdong New District, which was conceived by the world-renowned architectural planning master Mr. Kurokawa Jizhang and won the International Planning Award. The Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government are very concerned about the construction of the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Comrade Li Ke, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, has clearly instructed to build it into an internationally renowned landmark building with first-class planning, design, engineering, and team.
