The International Trade Center is located in the core area of Beijing's central business district, covering an area of 12 hectares with a total construction area of 560000 square meters. The International Trade Center was founded in August 1985 and fully opened on August 30, 1990. 国贸中心于1999年年初在上海证券交易所发行了A种股票1.6亿股并上市，融资8.5亿人民币。股票发行和上市的成功，为国贸中心今后的长足发展开辟了新的融资渠道，使企业走上了实业经营和资本经营相结合的道路。目前国贸中心正在积极进行三期工程建设，以实现企业更大的发展。 
Exhibition Hall Scale
　　总面积达10，000平方米的国贸中心展览大厅由三个展厅及序厅组成，即一号馆（2，000平方米），其天花板高度为14-19米，且厅内无柱子，二号馆（3，500平方米），三号馆（2，100平方米）和可兼布展并举行展览会开幕式的序厅（2，400平方米）。
