The Tianjin Binhai International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone. This is the core of Tianjin Binhai New Area, the gateway to the two major cities of Beijing and Tianjin, and the center of the Bohai Rim Economic Circle. It connects the Three Norths, radiates Southeast Asia, is 120 kilometers away from the Chinese capital Beijing, 55 kilometers away from Tianjin city center, and faces Dalian and Yantai across the sea.

As a key construction project in Tianjin, it has been successfully put into use after nearly two years of construction. Designed by Lee Harris Pomeroy from the United States, the design symbolizes a traditional Chinese handicraft - a brocade fan. The land area is 169000 square meters, the building area is 61000 square meters, the front square is 9440 square meters, the back yard is 11360 square meters, and the parking lot is 13000 square meters. The first floor of the exhibition hall consists of six functional areas A-F. The large exhibition hall has a height of 15m-26 meters and provides 868 booths, with an area of 18100 square meters. The rear comprehensive building has a height of 8 meters and provides 256 booths, with an area of 5600 square meters. The exhibition hall features can be divided or combined, large or small, and its spatial combination is very flexible, suitable for exhibitions of different sizes and natures, and can meet the multifunctional needs of special exhibitions, conferences, business, and banquets.

The mezzanine service space consists of a Western food preparation room, some office areas, and equipment rooms for major equipment; The second floor has a height of 4 meters and consists of one specialized exhibition hall (with an area of 1800 square meters and 80 exhibition spaces), 14 conference rooms, 2 banquet halls, 1 press conference room, 2 self-service restaurants, and 4 bars. The overall building adopts various advanced curtain wall forms and complex large-span spatial truss forms from around the world.

At the same time, the high-tech computer network system, trading system, exhibitor registration system, advertising publishing system, air conditioning system, fire protection system, weak current and other system designs of this building have adopted multiple domestic and international latest technological achievements, and referred to the standards of international first-class exhibition centers to reserve language, data, water supply and drainage, power and electricity interfaces for each booth. It is the largest, most complete, modern and professional exhibition hall in Tianjin, and will become the flagship of economic development in Binhai New Area.

The construction area of the convention and exhibition center is 120000 square meters, and the exhibition area can provide 40000 square meters of indoor exhibition area. It can set up nearly 2000 international standard booths, including 20000 square meters of outdoor exhibition area. The total area of the conference area is 7500 square meters, which can meet the meeting requirements of different specifications. The exhibition center is also equipped with an underground parking lot with 700 parking spaces and a 1300 square meter kitchen, greatly meeting the needs of various exhibition activities.
