The Wuhan International Expo Center is a key project in Hubei Province and Wuhan City, and is the "tipping point" for the development and construction of the Wuhan New Area. The project covers an area of 6253 acres with a total investment of 50 billion yuan, including the first phase exhibition hall, the second phase international conference center, the Intercontinental Hotel, the Holiday Hotel, the Hanting Hall, the Global (Cultural) Center, as well as super high-rise office buildings, commercial real estate development, landscape water systems, ecological residential areas, etc. It is a multi-functional composite international exhibition city with exhibition and display as the main function, integrating exhibition, technology, culture, business, leisure, tourism, and residence. The project is located on the second ring road of Wuhan City, adjacent to the Yangtze River, and can be called the "Yangtze River Exhibition Hall". The Yangtze River has a coastline of 2.7 kilometers, occupying the largest riverside area in Wuhan. There are four vertical and five horizontal main transportation routes planned in the area, with subway lines 6 and 11 passing through them, providing convenient transportation and a 15 minute drive from the central urban area. Wuhan International Expo Center will continuously strive to improve the city's exhibition functions, take it as its responsibility to assist urban development, promote the rapid development of Wuhan's exhibition industry, and achieve the "urban exhibition hall" on the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
武汉国际博览中心展馆于2011年投入使用，展馆总建筑面积约45.7万平方米，室内展览面积为15万平方米，室外为4万平方米，可提供约6880个国际标准展位。展馆内部采用无柱设计，室内净高达17.5米，最大可提供6.5万平方米连续展览面积。作为国内领先、国际一流的会展场馆和华中地区最大的综合性博览城，可承接国际国内大型展览、会议和活动。

　　The conference center is located between the exhibition area and the hotel area, with a total construction area of 99000 square meters. It includes a 6000 square meter banquet hall, a 1350 square meter international conference hall, a 900 square meter staircase conference room, 35 medium-sized conference rooms, and 41 reception rooms (also serving as small conference rooms). Among them, the grand banquet hall can be flexibly divided according to actual needs.
