The full name of Wuhan Living Room is China (Wuhan) Cultural Exhibition Center, located in Jinyintan, Dongxihu District. It was developed by Zhuoer Development (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 15 billion yuan and a total area of 1.8 million square meters. It was designed by the world-class planning and design agency AS Architecture Design in France. The main project of the Wuhan living room includes a 100000 square meter "China (Wuhan) Cultural Exhibition Center", a 50000 square meter conference center, a 30000 square meter Chinese Folk Collection Museum, a 200000 square meter Cultural Art Trading Center, and a 500000 square meter Creative Industry Base. The core building of the Wuhan living room is a diamond shaped building that reaches a height of 201.1 meters. The main part of the 800000 square meter building in the first phase of Wuhan Living Room will be completed by the end of this year, and the first batch of venues are planned to start operating by the end of 2012. It is understood that Wuhan Living Room will host and undertake activities such as the "Golden Rooster" and "Hundred Flowers" Awards for Chinese films, the legendary ceremony, the Chinese Dance Festival, the "Golden Phoenix Award" for Chinese literature, the World Chinese Film Festival, plan various art exhibitions such as drama, painting, architecture, and hold cultural activities such as expo trading, auction appraisal, collection and fair. The Wuhan Living Room, a city cultural complex that integrates cultural and artistic exhibition and trading, film and television creative industry base, and high-end hotel conference services, is the first of its kind in China.
