Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the core area in the west of Jinan, less than 3 kilometers away from Jinan West Railway Station, adjacent to IKEA and Decathlon in the south, Yuanda Commercial Complex and Evergrande Commercial Super High rise Project in the west, adjacent to Shandong Medical Center, Provincial Capital Grand Theater, and Provincial Science and Technology Museum. It is the first large-scale exhibition hall with a net exhibition area of more than 150000 square meters in Jinan, echoing and complementing Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center and Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center from afar.
　　The exhibition center was officially put into use in July 2019, with a total construction area of approximately 352000 square meters, including 226000 square meters above ground and 126000 square meters underground. The indoor exhibition area is 100000 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition area is 50000 square meters. It can provide a total of 5468 international standard booths. It mainly includes 5 exhibition halls, 8 exhibition halls, conference center, login hall, unloading platform, etc. The exhibition hall is arranged from south to north, with two single-layer exhibition halls, two 2-story exhibition halls, and one 3-story exhibition hall (the 3rd floor is the conference center) arranged in sequence. The spatial height is above 11 meters, and the 5 exhibition halls are connected to each other through a 40000 square meter entrance hall, separated by various curtain walls representing the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
　　There is a bus parking area on the ground, which can accommodate 200 buses and carry more than 10000 passengers. There are underground parking lots, business, catering and other supporting service facilities, with more than 2400 parking spaces. In order to maximize the development and utilization of space and facilitate exhibitors in setting up and dismantling exhibitions, the exhibition center adopts single-layer steel structural beams with a maximum span of 72 meters. Each exhibition hall has 6 unloading ports, and the first floor can bear 5 tons per square meter and the second floor can bear 3 tons per square meter, creating conditions for holding large-scale truck and machinery exhibitions.
　　In October 2020, the exhibition hall on the 3rd floor of Hall 1 of Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center was renovated and upgraded to an international conference center with an area of over 10000 square meters. The entire conference area includes three conference centers with capacities of 4000, 800, and 500 people respectively. It is also equipped with VIP reception rooms, press conference halls, and leisure negotiation areas to meet various functional requirements and undertake international and national level conference activities.
