Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center (hereinafter referred to as Shungeng Convention and Exhibition Center) is a modern conference and exhibition venue invested and built by the Jinan Municipal People's Government and Shungeng Mountain Villa Group. It is located at the southwest foot of Qianfo Mountain, with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. It was completed and put into use in October 2002. Shungeng Convention and Exhibition Center is the first exhibition venue in the province to pass the dual certification of ISO9001 international quality certification and ISO14000 environmental management system.
　　The Shungeng Convention and Exhibition Center and surrounding supporting hotels cover an area of approximately 100000 square meters, with a venue construction area of 41000 square meters. The indoor exhibition area is 14100 square meters, which can accommodate about 600 international standard booths, and the outdoor square area is 3000 square meters.

　　The completion of Shungeng Convention and Exhibition Center has filled the hardware gap in the development of Jinan's exhibition industry and ended the history of Jinan's exhibition industry without venues. Since its completion, the exhibition hall has relied on the continuous improvement of Jinan's economic development and urban construction level. With its superior geographical location and strong commercial atmosphere, it has successfully held more than 1000 well-known exhibitions and events such as the National Plant Protection Expo, National Machinery Exhibition, National Textile Exhibition, the First Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo, Biotechnology Industry Conference, National New Year Goods Festival, Qilu Auto Show, Taiwan Famous Products Exhibition, as well as the Information and Cultural Expo and the Cultural Expo. The number of visitors has exceeded 20 million, which has a significant driving effect on the tourism, catering, accommodation, entertainment and other tertiary industries in Jinan. It has become the main carrier for the development of Jinan's exhibition economy and has a high reputation and influence in the national exhibition industry.

It has successively won honors such as "China's Best Exhibition Venue (Management Level)", "China's Top Ten Excellent Exhibition Centers", "China's Best Exhibition Venue in the Exhibition Industry", and "China's Top Ten Potential Exhibition Venues". The center currently mainly receives government exhibitions, various small-scale boutique exhibitions, new theme and market cultivation exhibitions, and high-end conferences.
