As the only member of the Union of International Expos (UPI) in China and a member of the International Association of Exhibition Management (IAEM), China International Exhibition Center actively participates in various activities in the international exhibition industry, striving to promote the internationalization and standardization of China's exhibition industry.
Since its establishment in 1985, the China International Exhibition Center has held more than 1000 exhibitions of various types, covering an exhibition area of over 11 million square meters, and promoting domestic and international trade turnover of over 500 billion yuan.  
After nearly 20 years of cultivation and development, the China International Exhibition Center now holds more than 100 exhibitions of various types every year, with an exhibition area of over 1 million square meters. Most of these exhibitions have a significant impact both domestically and internationally, with the top four international professional exhibitions being the Organic Bed Exhibition, Textile Machinery Exhibition, Metallurgy, Casting, Forging, and Industrial Furnace Exhibition; The printing technology exhibition, machine tool exhibition, metallurgy, casting, forging, and industrial furnace exhibition are recognized by the International Expo Alliance; Renowned exhibitions in the international professional community include automobile exhibitions, chemical exhibitions, telecommunications exhibitions, computer exhibitions, food machine exhibitions, and aviation exhibitions; As comprehensive exhibitions, well-known figures include the Beijing International Expo and the Asia Pacific Expo. At present, there are 31 regular exhibitions listed in the center, most of which have a period of 2 years, but there are also a few that have a period of 1 year, 3 years, or 4 years. Among them, the telecommunications exhibition is known as the "invasion and glory"; The car exhibition and the first philatelic exhibition were popular in Beijing, and the audience was very enthusiastic. Chinese President Jiang Zemin and other party and state leaders visited the automobile exhibition; Foreign dignitaries such as the President of the Swiss Confederation and the President of France also visited the Textile Machinery Exhibition, Logistics Exhibition, etc., fully demonstrating the role and influence of these exhibitions. While consolidating regular exhibitions, the exhibition center has cultivated and established some famous brand exhibitions through transplanting foreign famous brand exhibitions and joint exhibitions, which not only opens up exhibition sources but also increases revenue.
