China International Battery Fair (CIBF)

The China International Battery Technology Exchange Conference/Exhibition (CIBF) is an international conference on the battery industry hosted by the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association. It is the largest exhibition event in the international battery industry, covering a series of activities such as exhibitions, technical exchange meetings, information conferences, and business negotiations. As the first brand exhibition in the battery industry to be protected by trademark registration, CIBF obtained trademark registration approval from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce on January 28, 1999, and completed two renewals in 2009 and 2019, continuously enhancing its brand influence.

Since the first edition of CIBF was held in Tianjin in September 1992, it has formed a fixed tradition of holding it every two years: the second edition was held in Beijing for six consecutive editions, and the sixth edition was postponed to 2004 due to the SARS epidemic in 2003; The 8th edition moved to Tianjin due to the Beijing Olympics; In 2010, CIBF first landed in Shenzhen and has successfully held six sessions in Shenzhen so far. Up to now, it has successfully held seventeen sessions.

As one of the most influential new energy exhibitions in the world, CIBF has always led and promoted the development and progress of the new energy industry with a professional attitude and dedication. On May 15-17, 2025, the 17th Shenzhen International Battery Technology Exchange Conference/Exhibition (CIBF2025) came to a successful conclusion. The 18th Shenzhen International Battery Technology Exchange Conference/Exhibition (CIBF2026), hosted by the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association and organized by Tianjin Zhongdian New Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd., is scheduled to be held from May 14-16, 2026 at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao'an). The exhibition area will reach 280000 square meters, with an expected number of over 3000 exhibitors and more than 400000 professional visitors.
