CITE 2026: Thirteen years of deep cultivation, creating a benchmark for the electronic information industry
After 13 years of deep cultivation in the industry, the China Electronic Information Expo (CITE), a national level platform jointly created by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, has grown into a comprehensive electronic information expo with great scale and influence in Asia. Since its establishment in 2013, the exhibition has undergone market-oriented operation upgrades, always focusing on the forefront of the industry and becoming the core window for showcasing the latest products and technologies in the global electronic information industry.
It is reported that CITE 2026 will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian) from April 9 to 11, 2026, with the theme of "new technologies, new products, and new scenarios". It will set up eight core exhibition areas and over 20 themed zones, covering hot areas such as intelligent mobile terminals, AI computing power, low altitude economy, integrated circuits, and special electronic components. Among them, the embodied intelligence exhibition area will showcase cutting-edge achievements such as humanoid robots and robotic dogs, the AI big model/intelligent computing center exhibition area will focus on computing power cores such as liquid cooling technology, and the low altitude economy exhibition area will highlight Shenzhen's advantageous products such as eVTOL electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
The scale of the exhibition has reached a new high, with an exhibition area of 60000 square meters. It is expected to attract 1200 exhibitors and receive over 55000 visitors, including 2145 overseas visitors. At the same time, over 150 summits, forums, and procurement matchmaking events will be held, and the "Artificial Intelligence Empowered Manufacturing Industry Scale Transition Conference" will be established for the first time, bringing together academicians and industry leaders to discuss industry trends and build a high-end bridge for technology exchange and business cooperation. Relying on Shenzhen's strong industrial foundation - the output value of the electronic information industry will reach 2.52 trillion yuan in 2023, accounting for one sixth of the country's total. In addition, with a complete industrial chain, favorable policy support, and international location advantages, CITE 2026 will continue to lead the innovation direction of the electronic information industry.
CIBF2026: Over 30 years of accumulation, leading the value upgrade of the new energy battery industry
The theme of this exhibition is "Connecting the World, Empowering Green, and Driving the Future", hosted by the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association. The exhibition covers an area of 280000 square meters and is expected to attract over 3000 exhibitors and 400000 professional visitors, covering leading enterprises in the entire industry chain such as CATL, BYD, and EVE Energy. The exhibition spans 14 exhibition halls, showcasing disruptive technologies such as solid-state batteries and sodium ion batteries, as well as key materials such as high nickel ternary cathodes and silicon-based cathodes. It also covers the entire industry chain, including power batteries, energy storage applications, hydrogen energy equipment, and waste battery recycling.
It is worth noting that CIBF2026 will focus on industry transformation, guiding the industry from "scale competition" to "value competition". At the same time, high-end forums such as the Advanced Battery Frontier Technology Exchange Conference, the New Energy Storage Technology and Engineering Application Conference will be held, attracting more than 2000 industry experts to explore development paths together. As an important communication platform for the global new energy industry, this exhibition will further promote battery technology innovation and industrialization, and help Shenzhen consolidate its advantageous position in the new energy industry.
The consecutive landing of two major exhibitions not only showcases the strength of Shenzhen's electronic information and new energy industries, but also provides an important opportunity for global industry practitioners to exchange and cooperate. With the steady progress of exhibition preparations, a series of technological feasts are about to take place, helping the two industries achieve higher quality development driven by innovation.
