潭洲国际会展中心位于珠三角中心位置，广东省佛山市顺德区北滘镇，佛山一环以西，荷岳路以北。会展中心建筑总面积118000平方米，包括展览、会议和辅助设施等建筑。

 潭洲国际会展中心规划总用地面积约30万平方米，总计容建筑面积约20万平方米。首期工程总用地面积约16.1万平方米，总建筑面积约11.7万平方米，其中首期工程展览部分预计将于2016年8月建成，9月独立投入使用，剩余配套部分计划于2018年5月建成并投入使用。
The Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the core of Guangfo City and is an important transportation hub in the Pearl River Delta. The Convention and Exhibition Center is adjacent to Beijiao Station on the Guangfo Ring Road, and can conveniently utilize the regional transportation hub function of Guangzhou South Station. Located adjacent to Shangliao Station on Foshan Metro Line 3, it provides quick access to the central urban areas of Foshan and Shunde. Foshan Line 3 intersects with Guangzhou Metro Line 7 in Beijiao, providing quick access to the urban area of Guangzhou. The fast roads such as Foshan East First Ring Road and Heyue Road on the south side can conveniently connect with surrounding urban areas such as Foshan New City, Beijiao New City, and Shunde City. It only takes 1 hour and 19 minutes to drive to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, 27 minutes to drive to Guangzhou South Station, and about 20 minutes to reach Shunde Port Station.
The first exhibition section includes 5 exhibition halls. A major feature of the design is the regularity, neatness, and flexibility of the exhibition hall layout. Each exhibition hall has a net exhibition area of approximately 9000 square meters and follows a layout module of 3 meters by 3 meters. It can provide about 500 standard booths and is suitable for hosting exhibitions, displays, and other activities of various scales.
The two exhibition halls in the northwest corner and central northern part form one group, while the three exhibition halls in the east form another group. Each exhibition hall can hold exhibitions independently or in groups without interfering with each other. The single-layer exhibition hall has a net height of 13.9 meters (minimum) and 18.7 meters (maximum), with an average net height of 15.9 meters.
The design load for exhibition halls 1, 4, and 5 is 10 tons per square meter, while the design load for exhibition halls 2 and 3 is 5 tons per square meter. The initial supporting facilities include a landing hall, conference center, and exhibition corridor. The landing hall is located in the middle of the plot and the middle of the corridor, including the certificate processing hall and supporting auxiliary functions. The conference center is located at the west end of the exhibition corridor and includes a 1200 square meter multifunctional hall, conference rooms, press conference halls, VIP reception rooms, and other functions.
