The Digital Trade Fair is the only national, international, and professional exhibition in China with the theme of digital trade. It is an important window for showcasing new technologies, products, and ecosystems in global digital trade, an exchange platform for discussing new standards, issues, and trends in international digital trade, and an open platform for jointly building and sharing new markets, opportunities, and developments in economic and trade cooperation in the new era. The Data Trade Fair is jointly hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Commerce, and jointly organized by the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, and the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce.
The first Digital Trade Fair was successfully held in Hangzhou from December 11 to 14, 2022. Ireland, known as the "Silicon Valley of Europe," served as the guest country of honor. Seven international organizations, 53 countries (regions), and 32 guests from embassies and consulates in China and Shanghai attended both online and offline. Beijing, Shanghai, and Sichuan served as guest provinces (cities), and 11 provinces and cities across the country participated in the event. More than 800 key enterprises in the field of digital trade participated in the exhibition, and 286 companies showcased 315 products for their "first launch," "first exhibition," and "first show." 89 projects from Fortune 500 companies, industry leaders, and unicorn enterprises were signed, with a total trade investment of nearly 150 billion yuan. We held 26 high-end forum activities, including the National Digital Service Export Base Summit Forum and the Digital Culture Trade Summit Forum, and released a series of important research results, consolidating consensus on the development of digital trade and becoming an important indicator in the global digital trade field.
The second Digital Trade Fair was successfully held from November 23 to 27, 2023 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center in Zhejiang. The total exhibition area is 100000 square meters
