The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957 and is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. It is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Center. It is an important comprehensive international trade exhibition and international trade cooperation platform in China.

The 140th Canton Fair will be held in three phases in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4, 2026, with a total exhibition area of approximately 1.55 million square meters, 54 professional exhibition areas, over 75000 booths, and more than 30000 participating companies. This exhibition continues to focus on the development direction of "towards new, green, and intelligent", covering multiple commodity sectors such as electronic appliances, industrial manufacturing, vehicles and two wheelers, lighting and electrical, hardware tools, household goods, gifts and decorations, building materials and furniture, toys and maternity and baby products, fashion, home textiles, stationery, health and leisure, providing a platform for domestic and foreign enterprises to carry out product display, procurement negotiation, and international trade cooperation.
